Chinese New Year
My family enjoys Chinese food all year long, and with the Chinese New Year just a short time away we can enjoy another holiday and wonderful food. It's really simple and fun to create your own celebration at home. You could go all out and invite some friends over to enjoy the party as well!
Don't forget that Sun-Bird Seasonings are a great way to make Chinese food with ease at home. I have a perfect example of a meal that I made just last week.
Just add some water and soy sauce to the seaonings and let it sit while you get everything else going in a wok or a large skillet. I made some brown rice to go along with this quick and easy meal because I'm working on getting us to eat more whole grains.
This is a simple way to make some Chinese food at home, and you could easily take advantage of the other seasoning blends to throw your own Chinese New Year party! Just add some fun decorations - make sure to include the color red because of the good luck it's supposed to bring - add some friends and you've got a great celebration.
There are some great websites with crafts you can do for the Year of the Dragon. There is a really cute dragon puppet project on on Family Fun that the kids would have a blast making for the big party.
Note: I am a blogger advocate for Sun-Bird Seasonings and this is a compensated post. All opinions are my own. Sun-Bird is providing the giveaway package to one of my readers.

After what seemed like the longest day of work ever... I got home and still needed to make dinner. Luckily, I had picked up some pre-cut stir-fry beef strips when I did the shopping last weekend, and some pre-cut broccoli. All I needed was the Beef and Broccoli seasoning packet from Sun-Bird.
